Adrian Aguirre, 22, found out about the free wireless internet two weeks ago. "I tried before, but they used to have a security thing on it," Aguirre said. "Now I bring my laptop every day. I use it for all my classes."
Current 'hot-spots' or wireless access points are Danner Hall, areas in the Quad, the Cunningham Student Lounge, and the Locke Student Lounge.
Three access points in the Goleman Library will be allocated as construction for the new Goleman Learning Center continues.
A likely spot would be in the Shima building, but due to asbestos and metal construction, additional work will be required.
To access the free Wi-fi, connect to "attwifi."
"[It's useful because] you don't have to go to the computer lab. You can just bring your laptop," Aguirre said.
