Japanese Club

With a new semester comes new additions to the Delta College club roster, however, this time around we have a few returning clubs that the student body are happy to see once again.
One such returning organization is the San Joaquin Delta College Japanese club. With an approximate current total of 35 active members, the Japanese club is eager to jump back into student life and make itself a presence on campus.
Meeting every Monday from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Shima 117, the Japanese club stays in contact with it's members via a custom designed website that is constantly being updated with events and discussions on the forums.
While it may seem that to join this club one would have to be of Japanese descent, it's not a prerequisite at all.
This club is open to anyone interested in Japanese culture and not only is their membership free, all activities are based around the diversity inherent in Japanese history and modern life.
The club has already held one successful Movie Night, and they plan on having more. With the focus on Japanese movies, it's a great way to connect with Japanese culture as well as other students.
The club officers can be contacted at deltajapaneseclub@gmail.com or to see the upcoming events calendar visit their website http://www.s1.zetaboards.com/SJDC_Japanese_Club.

1) "...around the student body is happy to have a few returning clubs."
2) "...Shima 117. The Japanese Club..."
3) Why would I think that the Japanese Club had illegally discriminatory membership requirements? Have I watched so much Fox News that I've lost all critical reasoning skills?
